Fana Sparebank is an independent local bank in Bergen, established in 1878. It is an advisory bank committed to finding the best solutions for its customers.

Paulsen & Nilsen refurbished all three floors of this heritage building and created space for a public reception, workplaces, several meeting rooms and a canteen.

The inclusion of the fabulous Dzek Marmoreal floor was a major triumph for P&N in this project. These fabulous, colourful 3x1.2 meter slabs of engineered marble have been shipped from Italy, but were meticulously cut to size on site. Apart from being a spectacular material, we chose this product due to it’s specific colorway. The tone of green was present in the banks former profile while the orange is used throughout their new identity and represents the vibrant energy of the company.

We were thrilled to collaborate with the well-known Bergen architect Sven Gundersen on this project.
