Deich
From 1933 to 2019, the Deichman was home to Oslo’s main public library. Now, the books have found a new home and the building will undergo an extensive transformation to become a center for storytelling through photography. Møller Eiendom is developing a central new hub for creativity and social gathering, the interiors of which will all be enhanced by the art of photography.
Spanning 14,000 square meters, the building has been renamed ‘Deich – House of Photography’.
In collaboration with Lundhagem, Grecodeco and Team Getalong, Paulsen & Nilsen are excited to be part of the team that will design and develop some of the spaces in this historic building. Thank you to Møller Eiendom and Siri Loining for the opportunity. We look forward to the challenge and the chance to be involved with such an important project here in Oslo.
